GOOD QUESTIONS

Yes, really.

The questions people ask twice — because payment providers have taught us to expect accounts, approvals and payout delays.

Two founders reviewing their P2Flux payments dashboard together

Do I really not need a P2Flux merchant account or approval?

Yes. There is no P2Flux merchant account, application form or approval queue. You integrate and start.

Does the money really go straight to my wallet?

Yes. Your share goes to your wallet in the payment transaction itself. There is no P2Flux balance and no payout step to wait for.

Do my buyers really not need an account either?

Yes. They pay from the wallet they already use — no P2Flux signup or buyer account is added to your checkout.

Do buyers really not need ETH to pay?

Right. P2Flux picks the payment path automatically: a wallet that holds ETH pays normal Base gas; a wallet that holds only USDC pays the network fee in USDC and P2Flux handles the Base gas. One-time payments, subscriptions and renewals all work this way, and your share still settles straight to your wallet.

Do you really not collect my customer and order data?

No buyer profiles or hosted order history are required on P2Flux. Your customers and orders stay in your own system.

Do subscriptions really work without a card on file?

Yes. The customer approves the subscription once from their wallet. Renewals then run automatically until they cancel or revoke it.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS

Your customers and orders stay in your system.

P2Flux does not create buyer accounts or host your order history. You keep the customer relationship and business data in the systems you already use.

FAIR REFUNDS

Refunds go straight back. We take nothing.

A refund is sent directly from your wallet to the original payer. P2Flux helps prepare and verify the refund, but never holds the money. You choose the amount, from a partial refund up to the full payment, with no P2Flux refund fee.

Buyers pay with USDC. Only USDC.

Network gas can be paid in USDC, so a customer who holds only stablecoins can complete checkout. No hunting for ETH, no abandoned cart because the wallet was "empty" in the wrong token.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

Approve once. Renew automatically.

Customers approve the subscription once from their wallet. Renewals then run automatically under that authorization, and the customer can stop them at any time.

FAQ

Questions you might have before using P2Flux.

Crypto payments can sound more complicated than they need to be. Here are the practical answers to the questions that matter most.

Still have a question? Read the docs → Integration enquiries →
What happens if a payment fails?

If the payment does not go through, the money is not transferred and the merchant does not receive it — either the whole payment happens or none of it does. The network still charges a small processing cost for the attempt (usually a few cents), and the checkout shows the payment did not complete so the customer can simply try again.

Can I lose my payment if something goes wrong?

No. A payment either settles completely — money in the merchant wallet — or it does not happen at all. There is no half-finished state where funds sit somewhere in between.

Does P2Flux hold my money?

No. Money moves from the buyer's wallet to yours in one transaction, with our fee split out inside that same transaction. There is no P2Flux balance and nothing to withdraw.

Does the customer need a P2Flux account?

No. Customers pay from the wallet they already have — no signup, no account, no identity check added to your checkout.

Who pays blockchain gas?

The buyer, and they can pay it in USDC. If their wallet holds ETH, the payment goes through as a normal Base transaction. If it doesn't, supported USDC payments include the network cost in USDC: P2Flux sends the transaction and handles the Base gas, the buyer signs and pays only in USDC, and the merchant's share still settles directly in that same transaction. On subscription renewals the network cost is reimbursed inside the renewal in USDC, so a customer never needs ETH to stay subscribed.

Do customers need to do something every month for a subscription?

No. They approve the subscription once from their wallet. Renewals then run automatically under that approval until they cancel.

How do subscriptions work?

The customer approves once, each renewal settles automatically to your wallet, and the customer can cancel at any time. No card on file, no manual re-sending.

Can payments be refunded?

Yes — once per payment. You send the refund straight from your wallet back to the wallet that paid, for any amount up to the full payment. P2Flux takes no fee on refunds.

Is this the same as asking someone to send crypto to my wallet?

No. P2Flux verifies every payment on-chain against a signed record — the amount, the destination and a unique reference — so your shop can mark an order paid without you checking a wallet by hand. A plain transfer proves none of that.

How long does a payment take?

Usually seconds. The payment settles when the network confirms the transaction — the checkout shows it confirming, then paid.
